Battersea Heliport

The Battersea Heliport which is based in central London is London's primary helicopter landing site, it is the most convenient location for arriving in and departing from central London. The heliport is a very small site that uses a jetty to provide a helipad for take-off and landing The heliport has been in operation since 1959, providing essential service to the business community and the emergency services, such as the Air Ambulance (HEMS) and Police Air Support units. The Battersea heliport caters for both business and leisure customers requiring quick access in and out of the City. The heliport provides landing, parking and refuelling services between 07:30 and 19:30 (flights are permitted between 07:00 and 23:00).
